About Me
My name is Alize Quiroz, and I am from Las Vegas, Nevada. I am attending the University of Nevada, Reno, because I want to build a future in marketing, management, and design based careers. I have always been drawn to creative work that still has structure, and studying business gives me the chance to learn both. I graduated from Southwest Career and Technical Academy, where I focused on Fashion Design and was involved in clubs like FCCLA, Fashion Club, Environmental Club, and National Honor Society. I also completed dual enrollment classes and earned a weighted GPA of 4.5.
Family is extremely important to me, and they are the main reason I stay motivated and focused. They are a big part of who I am, and they remind me to stay grounded, hardworking, and kind. I have work experience in different areas, including volunteering at Opportunity Village Thrift Store, working at Wee Little Cakes, and babysitting. These roles helped me build strong communication skills, organization, leadership, and the ability to adapt in fast paced environments.
I am interested in careers related to marketing, fashion business, product development, and anything that mixes creativity with practical work. Outside of school and work, I enjoy fashion, baking, graphic design, spending time with my family, and being involved in my community. My goal is to grow into a career where I can use my creative skills while also building a stable and meaningful future for myself and the people I care about.
